Yes! You can list vehicles as "For Sale" or "For Lease". For lease listings, specify the monthly payment and any lease terms in the description. You can also mark if the price is negotiable or if you accept trade-ins.

Free accounts can add up to 5 photos; Pro accounts get 10. Tips for great photos:
  • Shoot in good daylight, outdoors
  • Include all angles: front, rear, both sides
  • Show the interior, dashboard, and trunk
  • Photograph any damage honestly
  • For EVs: show the charging port and range display

Go to "My Vehicles" in the navigation. Click any listing to view it, then use the Edit or Delete buttons. Changes take effect immediately. Mark as sold when you complete a sale to help other buyers.
Electric Vehicles

Electric and hybrid vehicles have dedicated fields:
  • Battery capacity - Total battery size in kWh
  • Range - Estimated range in km (WLTP or real-world)
  • Battery health - Current battery condition as percentage (e.g., 92%)
  • Charging connector - Type 2, CCS, CHAdeMO, etc.
  • Max charging speed - Maximum DC fast charging in kW

These fields appear automatically when you select an electric or hybrid fuel type.

Battery health indicates how much capacity remains compared to when new. A 5-year-old EV with 92% health is excellent; 80% is typical. Low health means reduced range. This is crucial information for buyers - be honest about it! Many EVs show this in their dashboard or via manufacturer apps.

Switzerland uses standard European connectors:
  • Type 2 - Standard EU AC charging (most common)
  • CCS Combo 2 - DC fast charging (European standard)
  • CHAdeMO - Japanese DC standard (Nissan, older Mitsubishi)
  • Tesla - Tesla proprietary (older Model S/X)

Most new EVs in Switzerland use Type 2 for AC and CCS for DC fast charging.

History & Documentation

MFK (Motorfahrzeugkontrolle) is the Swiss vehicle inspection. All vehicles must pass MFK to be road-legal:
  • New vehicles - First inspection after 4 years
  • Vehicles 4-8 years - Every 3 years
  • Vehicles over 8 years - Every 2 years

Listing shows when MFK is valid until. A recent MFK is a strong selling point - it means the vehicle passed Swiss safety and emissions standards.

Full service history means documented maintenance at regular intervals. It proves the vehicle was cared for, can significantly increase value, and gives buyers confidence. Check the "Full service history" box if you have a complete service booklet or digital records.

Accident-free means no significant collision damage that required bodywork or structural repairs. Minor scratches or parking dents don't count. Be honest - buyers can check vehicle history. Misrepresenting accident history is fraud and can void the sale.

The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is a 17-character code unique to your vehicle. Including it:
  • Allows buyers to verify the vehicle history
  • Proves you're the legitimate owner
  • Builds trust and can speed up the sale

The VIN is on your vehicle registration (Fahrzeugausweis) and on the vehicle itself (usually visible through the windscreen on the dashboard).

This is when the vehicle was first registered for road use in any country. It may differ from the model year (a 2023 model could be first registered in 2024). Find this date on your Swiss vehicle registration document.
